Terms of Use
By using 3DX Hosting Companion or its optional account service, you agree to these terms.
Independent software
3DX Hosting Companion is an external Windows utility. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by 3DXChat. You remain responsible for following the game’s rules and the rules of any community you host.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app or account service to harass others, distribute unlawful content, upload malware, interfere with the service, evade storage limits, access another person’s account, or automate abusive messaging.
Accounts
Accounts are optional. You are responsible for access to the Google or Discord identity used to sign in. Access may be suspended when necessary to protect users or infrastructure from abuse.
Cloud backups
Cloud features are optional, require an account, and upload only data you explicitly submit. Transfers are encrypted in transit and stored objects use Cloudflare-managed encryption at rest, but the service is not end-to-end encrypted with a user-held key. Cloud backup is a convenience feature, not the sole safe copy of important data. Keep local backups. Storage limits and availability may change with reasonable notice.
Testing software
Testing versions may contain defects or change before release. The software and services are provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every system configuration.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect losses, interrupted hosting sessions, game-account actions, or lost data resulting from use of the software. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Termination and changes
You may stop using the app at any time and delete an optional account from Settings. These terms may be updated as account, premium, or cloud services evolve; material changes will appear in public patch notes.
